

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:
FACTS
		- Apple cider vinegar is made in a 2-step process,related to how alcohol is made:
 
Step 1: Yeast is added to crushed apples, which ferments the sugars and turns them into alcohol.
Step 2: Bacteria are added to the alcohol solution, which further ferments th alcohol and turns it into acetic acid, the main active compound in vinegar.
- Organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar also contains “mother” strands of proteins, enzymes and friendly bacteria that give the product a murkey appearance.
 - The main substance in vinegar, acetic acid, can kill harmful bacteria or prevent them from multiplying.

		APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:
DAILY MORNING DRINK
		Mix and drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Eat solid foods after 1 hour.
Ingredients
- One 8 oz. cup of warm water
 - 2 tbsp. of organic apple cider vinegar
 - 1–2 tbsp. of fresh squeezed lemon juice
 - 1 tbsp. of raw honey
 - 1 tsp. of ground cinnamon
 - 1 small pinch of cayenne pepper
 - fresh sliced ginger, 1 inch in length (optional)
 
Put everything into a blender, mix until it has a smooth consistency, drink and enjoy!

RECIPE — FOR EXTREME HEALTH

(The drink is green- not creamy -colored. Who cares…it’s full of nutrition and gives you energy, without having to resort to drinking a caffienated beverage.)
Yield: 2 cups
- 1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
 - 1 cup coconut milk (you can substitute 1/3 cup canned coconut milk mixed with 2/3 cup water)
 - 1 packet of unsweetened frozen acai puree (found in health food stores)
 - couple of handfuls of gogi berries (found in health food stores)
 - small handful of frozen spinach
 - 1 tablespoon of honey
 - 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
 - 2 teaspoons of hemp seeds
 - 2 teaspoons of raw cocao nibs
 - 1 teaspoon of spiralina
 - 1 teaspoon of raw cocoa powder
 - 1 teaspoon of maca powder
 - 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein
 - 1 tablespoon of raw almond butter (you make your own by taking a
 - handful of almonds, adding a little almond milk and blending it all in your blender)
 
Directions:
Blend all of the ingredients until thick and smooth (it’s easier to add the powdered ingredients after the blender is running so that they mix thoroughly).
Drink or store in a thermos and drink throughout the day.
